Abstract:
An automatic banknote handling system is provided which comprises: a conveyance device 200 for conveying a banknote storage container 10 in which banknotes are stored; a first arm 300 which unlocks a lock on the banknote storage container 10 and opens a lid 11 of the banknote storage container 10; a banknote aligning device 500 for aligning banknotes; a banknote sorting device 600 for sorting by type banknotes placed in an insertion unit; a second arm 400 which removes banknotes stored in the banknote storage container 10 and places these in the banknote aligning device 500, and which places the banknotes after aligning into the insertion unit of the banknote sorting device 600; a band attachment device 800 for attaching a band around the banknotes; and a third arm 700 which transfers a prescribed number of banknotes, sorted by type, to the band attachment device 800, and which removes the banded banknote bundle from the band attachment device 800 and places this in a prescribed location.
