Abstract:
Provided is a tipping bucket rain gauge, with which the man-hours spent on maintenance/inspection are reduced, it is possible to easily perform maintenance/inspection, and which requires less effort to operate than before. On each of both side surfaces of water drainers (12, 12), slide grooves (12a, 12a) are formed in a linear shape extending in a horizontal direction (D). On both opposing inside surfaces of cut-outs (13a, 13a) in a base (13), protruding strips (13b, 13b) which fit into the slide grooves (12a, 12a) are formed in a linear shape extending in the direction (D). The water drainers (12, 12) slide in the direction (D) by the slide grooves (12a, 12a) therein being guided onto the protruding strips (13b, 13b) on the base (13), and are freely attached to/detached from the base (13). Moreover, when the water drainers (12, 12) are mounted on the base (13), side walls (12c, 12c) each formed on a side part on the side opposite from the centre of the base (13) extend on a cylindrical outer periphery (13c) of the base (13), and the water drainers (12, 12) are enclosed by a body and fixed to the base (13).
