Abstract:
A waste gate valve device according to at least one embodiment is provided in a bypass passage for bypassing a turbine of a turbocharger disposed in an exhaust gas passage of an engine, the waste gate valve device comprising: a valve seat surface formed at an outlet of the bypass passage; and a waste gate valve body including a support arm supported so as to be rotatable about an axis and a valve body supported by the support arm and configured so as to make contact with or move away from the valve seat surface accompanying the rotation of the support arm. In the waste gate valve device according to at least one embodiment, the valve seat surface is slanted, as seen from the axial direction, with respect to a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the bypass passage.
