Abstract:
Provided is a tire information acquisition system capable of causing an on-vehicle
control device to easily store tire mounting positions and a sensor module unique
identification code. The system includes: sensor modules (3) mounted on wheels
(4) of a vehicle for measuring air pressure of tires, and transmitting the data
on the measured air pressures to a vehicle body; and an electronic control device
(5) arranged in the vehicle side for acquiring data on the tire air pressures transmitted
from the sensor modules (3) at a predetermined interval and judging whether the
data on the tire air pressure is normal for each of the tire mounting positions.
The sensor modules (3) store the data on the tire mounting positions in advance.
When the tire air pressure is lowered than an abnormal monitor pressure and air
is charged again to set a predetermined pressure, the data on the tire mounting
position is transmitted to the electronic control device (5). The electronic
control device (5) acquires and stores the data on the tire mounting position.
