Abstract:
This air-pressure monitoring system comprises: a detection device that is provided to the tires of a vehicle, detects the air pressure in each tire in accordance with a request signal, and transmits a response signal including the air pressure and an identifier of the detection device; a first antenna that is provided close to the right side face or the left side face of an approximately central part in the longitudinal direction; a second antenna that is provided close to the rear of the vehicle; and a monitoring device that wirelessly communicates with the detection device. The monitoring device identifies the air pressure in the front/rear right/left tires on the basis of the identifier included in the request signal transmitted by the first antenna and the identifier included in the request signal transmitted by the second antenna.
