Abstract:
The present invention improves the snow performance and the wet performance of a tire tread pattern in which a plurality of inclined grooves are arranged so as to extend from starting ends in the center region, including the equatorial line of a tire, to pattern ends, toward both sides in the tire width direction and toward the same side in the tire circumferential direction. When it is assumed that the peripheral distance L from the tire equatorial line to a pattern end on the outside in the tire width direction is 100%, the inclination angles of an inclined groove with respect to the tire circumferential direction are set to: from more than 40º to 50º in a first area that is 35% or less away from the starting end; from more than 50º to 65º in a second area that is more than 35% to 50% away; from more than 65º to 80º in a third area that is more than 50% to 70% away; and from more than 80º to 90º in a fourth area that is more than 70% to 100% away. The circumferential-direction distance from the starting end to the terminal end of the inclined groove in the tire circumferential direction is 60% to 90% of the width-direction distance in the tire width direction.
