Abstract:
A tissue inspection device comprising: a Raman spectrum acquisition unit that acquires Raman spectra for areas of interest in tissue; an intensity acquisition unit that acquires, from the Raman spectra for each of a first peak, a second peak, and a third peak that are set in accordance with a carcinoma to be inspected, the intensity (P1) of the first peak, the intensity (P2) of the second peak, and the intensity (P3) of the third peak; an intensity ratio calculation unit that calculates the intensity ratio (P2/P1) of the intensity (P2) and the intensity (P1) and also calculates the intensity ratio (P3/P1) of the intensity (P3) and the intensity (P1); and an assessment unit that, on the basis of the intensity ratio (P2/P1) and the intensity ratio (P3/P1), assesses whether or not the areas of interest are cancerous.
