Abstract:
This tolerance ring (10), which is for a torque transmission device, has a ring body (11) that comprises an elastic plate and is roughly a hollow cylindrical shape having a pair of edges (16) that extend in the axial direction. The ring body (11) has: a plurality of convexities (13) that are arrayed along the peripheral direction and that protrude in the radial direction; a first region having a number of the convexities including the pair of convexities (131) that neighbor the pair of edges (16); and a second region having a number of the convexities (13) and that is positioned at the diametrically opposite side from the first region. The pair of convexities (131) have the same rigidity as one of the convexities (13) of the second region.
