Abstract:
Provided are a tone correction data generation device, a tone correction data generation method, a program, and an image formation system that suppress trial and error by workers and enable generation of tone concentration conversion data to which a quantitative method is applied. The present invention: acquires first measurement data that is obtained by applying a white background and measuring a patch group that includes a plurality of patches that are formed on a substrate using a white colorant and that have different tone values, the patch group including at least one patch to which dots of a plurality of sizes are applied; acquires second measurement data that is obtained by applying a black background and measuring the patch group; derives a concentration value evaluation index value for each tone value in the white colorant on the basis of the first measurement data and the second measurement data; and generates tone correction data for correcting the relationship of concentration values to tone values in the white colorant on the basis of the evaluation index values.
