Abstract:
[Problem] To disclose a configuration that allows the tool protrusion length to be changed while maintaining the characteristics of coolant supply to a tool. [Solution] A tool 700 which is inserted into a body inner space (400a, 240a) of a body (400, 240) constituting a tool holding fixture 300 has a tool passage 740 and at least one cutout portion 730. The tool passage 740 has an opening 740b in a tool rear end surface 710B. The cutout portion 730 is formed by a cutout surface 731 on a tool outer peripheral surface 712, and has an opening 730b in the region of the tool rear end surface 710B closer to the tool centerline than the opening 740b. A movable member 500 is moved toward the leading end by coolant supplied from an inflow port 450a to the body inner space. At this time, with a through hole 540 of the movable member 500 facing the tool passage 740 of the tool 700, a movable member leading end surface portion 530A abuts on the region of the tool rear end surface 710B around the opening 740b.
