Abstract:
The invention relates to a tool life estimation method for correctly estimating a life of a tool. The method comprises finding a correction factor (f), in which a material factor determined by a material being worked and a work condition factor relied on a work condition are considered (S11), correcting an operating time of the tool by multiplying the operating time of the tool by the correction factor (f) (S12), and accumulating the corrected operating time of the tool (S13) so that the life of the tool is estimated to have expired when the accumulated value of the corrected operating time exceeds a predetermined reference value.
