Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a toothbrush which does not readily come into contact with the lips during use, which has excellent operability, and with which it is easy to brush the back teeth. A toothbrush (1) is provided with a head portion (3) having a bristle implanting surface (3a), a handle portion (4) provided on the rear end side of the head portion (3), and a neck portion (5) connecting the head portion (3) and the handle portion (4), wherein bristle bundles are implanted into bristle implanting holes formed in the bristle implanting surface (3a), and wherein, in a side view, if a boundary point of the neck portion (5) and the handle portion (4) on a front side is defined as point H1, and a point of intersection between a straight line k passing through a back surface (3b) of the head portion (3) and a vertical line dropped to the straight line k from point H1 is defined as point P1, the ratio of a distance Y1 between point H1 and point P1 to a distance X1 between the tip end of the head portion (3) in the straight line k direction and point P1 is at least equal to 0.25.
