Abstract:
This toroidal continuously variable transmission is provided with: a rotation shaft; a pair of discs; at least one power roller; a bearing that has an inner race, an outer race, and rolling elements interposed between the inner race and the outer race, and that is assembled to the rotation shaft so as to receive a load applied from the pair of discs in the axial direction; and a bolt that has a head part and a shaft part, with the shaft part threadedly inserted into a shaft end face of the rotation shaft. The bearing is assembled to the rotation shaft by interposing the inner race between the shaft end face of the rotation shaft and the head part of the bolt.
