Abstract:
A touch input device according to the present invention comprises: a first cover layer; a spacer layer; a display panel comprising a first substrate layer and a second substrate layer disposed under the first substrate layer; a first electrode and a second electrode disposed between the first substrate layer and the second substrate layer; and a third electrode and a fourth electrode disposed at the upper portion of the display panel, wherein at least one of the first electrode and the second electrode is used to drive the display panel; a touch position is detected on the basis of capacitance detected from the touch sensor which varies as an object approaches a touch sensor comprising at least one of the first electrode, the second electrode, the third electrode and the fourth electrode; a touch pressure is detected on the basis of the capacitance detected from a pressure sensor which varies as a distance, between the object and a pressure sensor comprising at least one of the first electrode, the second electrode, the third electrode and the fourth electrode, changes; and the spacer layer may be disposed between the first cover layer and the pressure sensor.
