Abstract:
A touch panel controller according to the present invention includes a plurality of drive signal generation circuits (DG1 to DGm) for generating drive signals (Ds0) to drive the drive lines (DL1 to DLm) of a capacitive touch panel (2), and a plurality of drive circuits (DC1 to DCm) for amplifying the drive signals (Ds0). The drive signal generation circuits (DG1 to DGm) can delay the timing of generating the drive signals (Ds0). As a result, the touch panel controller reduces EMI even with a large-size touch panel.
