Abstract:
A track irregularity measuring device in which reduction in weight can be realized while measuring vertical irregularity and lateral irregularity using a versed sine method. A vertical detection angle meter (38) and a lateral detection angle meter (39) are provided at a universal joint (37) part connecting two beam members (31, 32), and three rollers (34, 35, 36) traveling on a rail R are provided at the end parts and the joint part of the beam members (31, 32). When all travel rollers (34, 35, 36) abut against the same rail R, bending between the beam members (31, 32) takes place in the direction perpendicular to the tread Ra of the rail and in the direction horizontal to the tread Ra of the rail. The vertical detection angle meter (38) detects the relative angle Ѳk between the beam members (31, 32) when projected to a plane perpendicular to the tread Ra of the rail including the rail R, and the lateral detection angle meter (39) detects the relative angle Ѳt between the beam members (31, 32) when projected to a plane horizontal to the tread Ra of the rail.
