Abstract:
Provided is a transfer support apparatus that is capable of easily transferring a person requiring care. The transfer support apparatus (1) is equipped with a moveable carriage part (10), and a loading part (30) that is supported by the carriage part (10), and enables a person requiring care (2) to be placed thereupon. By placing the person requiring care (2) on the loading part (30) and moving said person, the transfer support apparatus (1) supports the transfer of the person requiring care (2). The loading part (30) is equipped with a seat part (34) having a seating surface (34b) that can be detached with the person requiring care (2) in a seated state. The loading part (30) is further equipped with an upper body holding part (35) capable of holding the upper body of the person requiring care (2), who is seated in the seat part (34). The upper body holding part (35) is able to support the weight of the person requiring care (2) without depending on the seat part (34), by being tilted.
