Abstract:
[Problem] To propose novel, improved transmission apparatus, relay apparatus and reception apparatus that can enhance the quick responses related to the processing of contents. [Solution] According to the present disclosure, there is provided a transmission apparatus comprising: a storage unit that stores, for the same content having a temporal continuity, both first encoded data to be used for reproduction in a first quality and second encoded data to be used for reproduction in a second quality that is higher than the first quality; and a communication unit that transmits the first encoded data to a reception apparatus, thereafter receives first position information, which is related to a data position, from the reception apparatus, and transmits, to the reception apparatus, that part of the second encoded data which corresponds to the first position information.
