Abstract:
[Problem] To provide technology for a transmission device and the like which are able to appropriately control the resonance frequency of an antenna, regardless of the presence or absence of a booster, and as a result are able to obtain stable communication characteristics. [Solution] Provided is an antenna resonance unit 110 that includes an antenna coil L1 and an impedance matching unit 114. A drive unit (an antenna drive unit 130, for example) generates a transmission signal to the antenna resonance unit 110. A detection unit 106 detects a drive current or drive power for the drive unit to operate. A control unit 140 is capable of generating a control signal for controlling the impedance matching unit 114 and controls the resonance frequency of the antenna resonance unit 110 by using the optimum control value, from among control signals, at which the drive current or drive power detected by the detection unit 106 is minimized.
