Abstract:

In the present invention, an image of appropriate picture quality is made easily presentable on a receiving side that receives high-frame-rate moving-image data. A video stream obtained by encoding the high-frame-rate moving-image data is generated. A container that includes this video stream is transmitted. Blur control information for controlling blur is inserted into a layer of the container and/or a layer of the video stream. The blur control information, for example, provides a coefficient of weighting of each frame in a blur adding process that adds the image data of a peripheral frame to the image data of the current frame.
