Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to display a given partial image within a wide viewing angle image with consistency between receivers according to use or user. This transmission device transmits a coded stream obtained by coding image data of a wide viewing angle image, and transmits rendering meta-information including information of a predetermined number of viewpoints grouped and registered. For example, information of a viewpoint has information of an azimuth angle (azimuth information) and an elevation angle (elevation information) that indicates the position of this viewpoint.
