Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a modulation scheme which makes it possible to further improve resource efficiency. [Solution] A transmission device equipped with a conversion unit for converting a first bit sequence and a second bit sequence to a complex signal point sequence, wherein: each of the plurality of complex signal points included in the complex signal point sequence is one element of a complex signal point set among a plurality of complex signal point sets; the use patterns in the complex signal point sequence of the plurality of complex signal point sets correspond to the first bit sequences in a plurality of pre-set combinations of first bit sequence candidates and use patterns; and the complex signal points included in the complex signal point sequence each correspond to the second bit sequences.
