Abstract:
The present invention transmits a vibration signal such that it is possible to favorably perform computation processing on a reception side. A conversion unit converts the vibration signal to floating point format data. The vibration signal is, for example, an audio signal or a haptic vibration signal. The floating point format data is, for example, 16-bit half-precision floating point data. A transmission unit transmits the floating point format data to an external apparatus via a transmission line. The transmission line is, for example, an HDMI transmission line. The transmission unit transmits the floating point format data using, for example, a transmission signal for each block of frames for the audio signal.
