The present invention is provided with a balanced type vane pump (5) having a first intake opening (81), a second intake opening (82), a first intake port (73), a second intake port (75), a first discharge opening (74), a second discharge opening (76), and a communicating oil passage (79). The first intake opening (81) is communicated with one of a suction oil passage (66) and a strainer (4), and the second intake opening (82) is communicated with the other. The first intake port (73) faces the first intake opening (81), and oil flowing in from the first intake opening (81) flows into the first intake port (73). The second intake port (75) faces the second intake opening (82), and oil flowing in from the second intake opening (82) flows into the second intake port (75). The first discharge opening (74) and the second discharge opening (76) discharge the oil flowing in from the first intake opening (81) and the second intake opening (82) to a hydraulic supply circuit (60). The communicating oil passage (79) is disposed on the downstream side of the first intake port (73) and on the downstream side of the second intake port (75) and communicates the first intake port (73) and the second intake port (75).
