Abstract:
The invention deals with a new type of coupling between a worm gear (1) and toothed rim (10). Small spheres (12) are interposed between the worm and rim that transfer movement through rolling friction. To help the best push of the spheres and the best contact between these and the two organs of the movement transmission (worm and rim), the worm has a fixed angle toric threading (7). Moreover the spheres can carry out the recirculation and not emerge from the mechanism through a system of recirculation within the worm or outside, and are however held in the area outside the contact between worm and rim, through a flange that has been duly internally shaped.
