Abstract:
Provided in an embodiment of the present application are a transmission method and a network device thereof, the transmission method comprising: a control plane node receiving a first message, wherein the first message comprises an uplink tunnel end point of a first interface, an uplink tunnel end point of a second interface, and a downlink tunnel end point of a third interface, the first interface being an interface between a user plane node and a second network node, the second interface being an interface between the user plane node and a third network node, and the third interface being an interface between the user plane node and a core network node; the control plane node sending a second message, the second message comprising the uplink tunnel end point of the first interface; the control plane node sending a third message, the third message comprising the uplink tunnel end point of the second interface and the downlink tunnel end point of the third interface. The communication method of the embodiment of the present application helps to clearly allocate and indicate uplink and downlink tunnel addresses on a user plane under circumstances in which network segments of each interface are inconsistent, thereby facilitating the completion of data transmission.
