Title:
TRANSMISSION UNIT HAVING AN INPUT SHAFT AND AN OUTPUT SHAFT INCLINED WITH RESPECT TO EACH OTHER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2004111492
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
A transmission unit (10) has at least two stages with an input shaft (18) and an output shaft (20) inclined with respect to each other and with at least two skew gears, at least one of which has spur gearwheels (26, 28, 34, 36). Preferably, the at least two skew gears have a shaft (30) in common skewed with respect to both and gearwheels having teeth on which the flanks have a negative crowning. The transmission unit (10) comprises casing means (12) with support seats (14a, 14b, 24) for at least one input shaft (18),the output shaft (20) and for at least one inclined intermediate shaft (30), not orthogonal and skewed with respect to the input and output shafts. A method for manufacturing the casing means provides for machining with a machine tool, in said casing means, in a single take, the support seats (14a, 14b, 24).
