Abstract:
The present invention relates to a transmissive HMD optical system having a periscope type forward-looking means. More specifically, the present invention relates to a transmissive HMD optical system capable of reducing the volume of the optical system so as to have an exterior design similar to that of regular sunglasses, reducing the weight of the optical system such that a user can comfortably wear the optical system without the burden of a large weight, providing an efficient transmissive large view angle optical system means, which can maximize the size of a virtual screen by allowing an optical means for enlarging an image, such as an internal-reflective curved surface mirror, to be maximally close to the eyeballs of the user, maximizing a sense of object augmentation in an augmented reality by increasing both the brightness of the virtual screen and the brightness of an external image, and reducing mass production costs by simplifying an assembly process.
