Abstract:
A treatment instrument insertion aid is provided with: a connection section 2 connected to the channel of an insertion instrument for insertion into a subject; an introduction opening 3 for receiving a treatment instrument inserted into the channel through the connection section 2; a cylindrical guide section 4 tapered from the introduction opening 3 to the connection section 2; and a plurality of recesses 5 provided in the outer peripheral edge of the introduction opening 3, the plurality of recesses 5 being expanded in diameter from the connection section 2 side to the introduction opening 3 side and shaped so as to be recessed toward the connection section 2.
