Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a tube leak detection device and a tube leak detection method which allow conveniently detecting an occurrence location of a tube leak in such a heat exchange apparatus as a boiler. [Solution] The present invention is a tube leak detection device for detecting a leakage occurrence location in a fluid line placed within a heat exchange apparatus, which is provided with: a sound collection unit which directionally collects sound emitted from a portion in which the fluid line has been placed within the heat exchange apparatus which is an object to be measured; an acoustic data conversion unit which receives collected acoustic signals which are the output of the sound collection unit and converts each of the acoustic signals into acoustic data representing the relationship between frequency bands and sound pressure levels; and an acoustic data display unit which acquires each of the acoustic data which are the output of the acoustic data conversion unit in order to display each of the acoustic data so as to be capable of being mutually compared.
