Abstract:
The invention relates to a more rapid method for producing tubular film (25, 40, 41, 42) from a polymer and/or metal film (A-E). According to the invention, the metal film (A-E) is in the form of at least one film web (A-E) prior to the joining of the tubular film. The edges of said film web (A-E) are interconnected during a joining process, thus creating at least one longitudinal seam (27). The tubular film is displaced in relation to the joining tools during said joining process.
