Abstract:
A tunable optical filter based on a vernier principle. The tunable optical filter consists of an optical path part and a control part. The optical path part comprises: an incident collimator (10), used for inputting an optical signal; an FP cavity etalon (11), capable of adjusting the transmitted spectrum bandwidth of the FP cavity etalon (11), so as to satisfy a requirement on a working bandwidth of an adjustable receiver; and an APD chip (13), capable of receiving an optical signal filtered by the FP cavity etalon (11) and converting the optical signal to a current having a strength, so as to facilitate subsequent signal transmission and processing. The control part is a TEC (12) and is capable of performing temperature control on the FP cavity etalon (11). The used optical devices such as the FP cavity etalon (11), the incident collimator (10), the APD chip (13) and the TEC (12) are all small-size devices, and the integrated packaging of the optical devices are easy to implement, thereby satisfying a strict requirement of an optical access network on the size of a ONU module.
