Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a tunnel establishment method, a device, an apparatus, and a storage medium. The method is applied to a session management function entity, and the method comprises: sending an N4 session request message to a first user plane function entity, the N4 session request message carrying tunnel information of a plurality of user plane function entities; wherein the plurality of user plane function entities comprise one or more second user plane function entities that need to establish a tunnel with the first user plane function entity. By means of the tunnel establishment method, the device, the apparatus, and the storage medium provided by embodiments of the present disclosure, a session management function entity sends an N4 session request message to a first user plane function entity, and tunnel information of a plurality of user plane function entities is carried in the N4 session request message, and thereby the establishment of a tunnel between the first user plane function entity and a second user plane function entity can be completed, and the number of interactions between the session management function entity and a user plane function entity can also be reduced, and transmission resources are saved.
