A twin-tub-type washing machine (1), comprising: a water overflow port cover (21) assembled at a water overflow port (3E) on an inner face portion of a washing tub (3); and a sliding member (22) supported by the water overflow port cover in a manner of sliding in a vertical direction (Z). A longitudinal rib (57) and a plurality of transverse ribs (59) arranged on the longitudinal rib and arranged side-by-side in the vertical direction (Z) are arranged on the water overflow port cover. The sliding member (22) is provided with a holding portion (24) for holding a telescopic portion (20A) of a water overflow path (20) for taking in water overflowing from the inside of the washing tub through the water overflow port; and a positioning portion (72) for positioning the sliding member in the vertical direction (Z). The positioning portion is provided with a body portion (72C) which bends in a manner of bulging toward the longitudinal rib side and is embedded between two transverse ribs; and a supporting portion (72D) which bends in a manner of bulging toward the side opposite the longitudinal rib side, and supports the body portion.
