Abstract:
A twisting machine and a method for adjusting outer yarn tension in same by using the adjustment of outer yarn tension to control the balloon shape, thus saving energy. The twisting machine uses an outer yarn tension implement (4) to adjust outer yarn tension in real time. In the initial stage when the spindle (3) is switched on, the motor (2) drives the spindle so the outer yarn synchronously rotates, forming a balloon shape. When the motor reaches a stable production speed, the balloon shape produced by the outer yarn will also be stable. Whereafter the wrap angle of the outer yarn on the yarn storage disc (10) is 180⁰-360⁰. From adjustments to tension made by the outer yarn tension implement, the wrap angle formed by the outer yarn around the yarn storage disc decreases to 0⁰. The balloon shape decreases in size, equipment noise is reduced, and power consumption decreased, thus resulting in energy savings.
