Abstract:
A two-jaw flexible manipulator having indexable finger roots, comprising finger root section fixing bases (15, 21), a finger root section fixing plate (18), finger root sections (12, 24), middle finger sections (8, 28), middle finger section torsion springs (11, 25), fingertip section torsion springs (4, 32), fingertip driving cylinders (7, 29), and finger root section indexing mechanisms. The flexible manipulator is driven respectively by a main motor (41) and the cylinders (7, 29), the main motor pushes a movable plate to move forwards or backwards by means of lead screw nut transmission, so as to adjust an opening and closing state of the finger root sections to adaptively clamp a part having a different width range, fingertip clamping jaws are pushed by the finger cylinders, and opening and closing of fingertips can be adjusted by pushing and pulling the cylinders to achieve clamping.
