Abstract:
A two-step method for smelting a high-nitrogen steel at normal pressure, comprising the following steps: S1, steel block rust removal; S2, steel block cleaning; S3, molten steel smelting; S4, a first step of high-nitrogen steel smelting: when the temperature in an electric arc furnace or an induction smelting furnace is risen to 1600 degrees centigrade, stopping stirring, adding manganese nitride into molten steel, the ratio of manganese to nitrogen in the manganese nitride being 12:88, stirring mixed liquid of the molten steel and the manganese nitride after the manganese nitride is added, the rotating speed of an engine at the moment being 2,000 r/min, and when the molten steel and the manganese nitride are completely fused, stopping stirring; S5, a second step of high-nitrogen steel smelting: transferring the molten steel and the manganese nitride which are completely fused into a VD furnace, introducing nitrogen gas into the bottom of the VD furnace, and performing the vacuum treatment process on the VD furnace; and S6, high-nitrogen steel casting. The method has a simple production process and simplified steps, and can effectively save resources and time in the production process, and therefore good high-nitrogen steel can be obtained.
