Abstract:
An ultra-thin Schroeder diffuser, comprising a substrate, 7×p rows and 7×q columns of square recesses being arranged on the substrate, p and q being integers greater than or equal to 1, the side length of the square recesses being 0.48λ, the depth being 0.04λ, the recesses being provided with square necks, the side length of the square necks being less than the side length of the square recesses, the depth of the necks being 0.01λ, λ being a wavelength corresponding to a design of the diffuser with respect to a certain centre frequency f0, the neck width w of different recess units being different, a distribution satisfying a certain sequence. The present invention implements broadband sound wave diffuse reflection, and has a closer diffuse reflection effect than traditional Schroeder diffusers. In addition, material thickness is reduced, the thickness of the present invention being λ/20, compared to a traditional Schroeder thickness of λ/2, which facilitates practical usage.
