Abstract:
Disclosed is an electronic device configured to: transmit advertising signals by using a first communication circuit; establish connections with each of a plurality of external electronic devices on the basis of response signals to the advertising signals by using the first communication circuit; receive an identifier from each of the plurality of external electronic devices; identify one or more first external electronic devices corresponding to the same group or the same identifier among the plurality of external electronic devices on the basis of the received identifiers; determine a ranging device among the one or more first external electronic devices on the basis of the communication quality associated with the plurality of external electronic devices; and perform UWB ranging with the determined ranging device.
