Abstract:

It is possible to automatically perform inspection including check of power supply from an ultrasonic observation device main body to an ultrasonic endoscope by a power supply check unit, check of a transmission signal Tx and a 3D drive clock from the ultrasonic observation device main body to the ultrasonic endoscope by a transmission signal check unit, check of Phase A and Phase Z by an encoder check unit, check of a scanner code and a frequency code from the ultrasonic endoscope (3) to the ultrasonic observation device main body by a code check unit, check of a position sensor signal from the ultrasonic endoscope to the ultrasonic observation device main body by a position sensor signal check unit, and the like. Thus, it is possible to easily judge whether any failure is caused in the ultrasonic endoscope.
