Abstract:
Provided is an ultrasonic medical device and an ultrasonic diagnostic device capable of being held in place in relation to an observation object in a desired position of the lumen of a subject. The ultrasonic medical device of the present invention has a sheath, a capsule-type main body, and a securing mechanism. The sheath is inserted into the lumen of the subject, and the external peripheral surface makes contact with the inner wall surface of lumen of the subject in a state in which the interior has been filled a liquid. The capsule-type main body part is inserted into the sheath, and houses an ultrasonic vibrator for transceiving ultrasonic waves to a subject. The securing mechanism is provided to the capsule-type main body unit and/or the sheath, and the capsule-type main body unit is secured and disposed in a desired position in the sheath.
