Abstract:
This ultrasonic treatment apparatus is provided with: a plurality of ultrasonic transducers; a means for identifying the location of an affected part; a means for determining, on the basis of the location of the identified affected part, a focal point of ultrasonic waves radiated from the plurality of ultrasonic transducers; and a drive circuit which generates drive signals for driving the plurality of transducers at individual timings so as to cause the ultrasonic waves to converge at the determined focal point.
