Abstract:
This composition contains: (A) an organopolysiloxane which has a main chain formed of repeats of a diorganosiloxane unit, which has a group represented by formula (1) at one or both terminals, and in which not less than 5% of the total number of monovalent organic groups bound to a Si atom is an aryl group (R1 represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group, R2 represents an oxygen atom or an alkylene group, R3 represents an acryloyloxyalykyl group or the like, p represents a number that satisfies 0≤p≤10, a represents a number that satisfies 1≤a≤3, and the dashed line represents atomic bonding); (B) an organopolysiloxane resin which comprises (a) a unit represented by formula (2) (R1-R3, where a and p are as described above), (b) a R1
3SiO1/2 unit, (c) a R1
2SiO2/2 unit, and (d) a SiO4/2 unit, and in which not less than 5% of the total number of monovalent organic groups bound to a Si atom is an aryl group; and (C) a photoinitiator. Said composition has excellent curability with ultraviolet rays and provides a cured product that has excellent heat resistance, transparency, and refractive index.
