Abstract:
Provided are particles having an excellent unpleasant taste-masking effect on pharmaceuticals having an unpleasant taste in the mouth and having high pharmaceutical solubility in the stomach. Also provided is an oral preparation containing said particles. The unpleasant taste masking particles are formed by coating core particles (A) containing a pharmaceutical with an unpleasant taste with a coating agent (B) containing one or more selected from ethyl cellulose, aminoalkyl methacrylate copolymer E, aminoalkyl methacrylate copolymer RS, cellulose acetate phthalate and an ethyl acrylate/ methyl methacrylate copolymer, and containing a hydroxide (C) having high water solubility at pH 1.2 and low water solubility at pH 6.8.
