Abstract:
An upsetter and working method. The upsetter comprises a machine body (1, 320, 601, 941, 1021), a big sliding block (2, 356, 602), an ejecting device (603), a big sliding block driving mechanism (604), a material ejecting mechanism (379, 605), a mechanism for adjusting front and rear positions of the material ejecting mechanism, a material pushing mechanism (606), a material pushing rod stroke adjusting mechanism (607) and a wire feeding mechanism (608), a main die assembly (4, 609), a main die base guiding device, a main die base driving mechanism (610), and a die assembly installed on the big sliding block. The machine body is sequentially provided with a material cutting site (631), a material delivering and upsetting site (632), and one or more upsetting sites (633, 634, 635, 636) thereon. The wire feeding mechanism is disposed on the material cutting site. The material delivering and upsetting site is provided with the material pushing mechanism. The upsetting sites are all provided with the material ejecting mechanisms. A material cutting die mounting hole of the main die base slides back and forth between the material cutting site and the material delivering and upsetting site. The upsetter can realize a modular main die assembly, and the working method of the upsetter facilitates replacing and adjusting an upsetting female die, thus increasing the upsetting efficiency of the upsetter.
