Abstract:
[Problem] To make it possible to directly suppress the urban heat island phenomenon. [Solution] With an urban design method of the present invention, a city is designed by carrying out design for the construction of spatial structural elements such as buildings in building sites, and by carrying out design for the selection of color elements for surfaces that are divided for each specified area of the spatial structural elements. The urban design method is provided with: an elevation view design step (S1) in which three-dimensional first diorama data (1) including orientation is created for the spatial structural elements and color elements; a site information adding step (S2) in which site information (5) on the latitude and longitude of a site is added to the first diorama data (1) to create second diorama data (2); a sunlight information adding step (S3) in which sunlight information (6) at a specified time is added to the second diorama data (2) to create third diorama data (3); and an albedo calculation step (S4) in which the albedo of the city is calculated based on the third diorama data (3) and the relationship between the color elements and the sunlight reflection coefficient.
