Abstract:
The present invention provides use of non-coding RNA SNHG17 as a marker and a treatment target, and belongs to the field of tumor biological treatment. Disclosed in the present invention is use of non-coding RNA SNHG17 in the preparation of a detection agent for predicting fulvestrant drug resistance in breast cancer. The nucleotide sequence of the non-coding RNA SNHG17 is set forth in SEQ ID NO. 1. Also disclosed is use of shRNA for inhibiting the expression of non-coding RNA SNHG17. The coding sequence of the shRNA is set forth in SEQ ID NO. 2 and SEQ ID NO. 3, or set forth in SEQ ID NO. 4 and SEQ ID NO. 5. The shRNA can knock down the expression of the non-coding RNA SNHG17, thereby improving the sensitivity of the drug-resistant breast cancer cells to fulvestrant.
