Abstract:
A user device that comprises: a transmission unit that transmits a random access preamble to a base station; a reception unit that receives a random access response that is transmitted from the base station; a control unit that controls the user device; and a timer that operates in a time interval that maintains the timing of transmission of an uplink signal from the user device. The control unit activates the timer in response to the random access response being received by the reception unit. The control unit makes the transmission unit transmit, to the base station, a message 3 that includes a message that requests transmission of system information. The control unit stops the timer after a prescribed interval has passed from the reception unit receiving a conflict resolution message that is transmitted from the base station.
