Abstract:
This user terminal is used in a mobile communication system that supports D2D (Device to Device) communication, which is direct communication between terminals. The user terminal is provided with a controller. When the controller has made a determination to execute a D2D discovery procedure with respect to a user terminal outside of cell coverage, the controller executes the D2D discovery procedure by using a D2D data resource in a preset resource pool for D2D communications. When the D2D discovery procedure is to be executed, the controller executes a process for transmitting identification information indicating that the data carried by a D2D data resource will be used for the D2D discovery procedure.
