Abstract:
The present invention minimizes decreases in frequency use efficiency even when repeat transmission is applied in communication with a user terminal in which the use bandwidth is limited to a narrow bandwidth that is part of a system bandwidth. A user terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention is a user terminal in which the use bandwidth is limited to a narrow bandwidth that is part of a system bandwidth. The user terminal comprises: a reception unit for receiving downlink control information (DCI) including information related to a repeat number; and a control unit for determining a repeat number related to transmission and/or reception of a predetermined signal on the basis of the information related to the repeat number. The user terminal is characterized in that the information related to the repeat number is set by associating said information with a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) that is applied to the predetermined signal.
